NICU Family + Infant Mental Health Support
Using an Infant Mental Health Framework, she supports the parent-child (or parent-infant) relationship via assessment, intervention, and consultation. She implements a relationship-based approach and offers support and mentorship to clients, while strengthening attachment, understanding and communication.
Jessica is well versed in a wide array of modalities focused on helping young children better process their feelings and engage in the world through play.
Psychotherapy
Jessica has experience providing psychotherapy in a range of different areas including child development, infant mental health, premature infants, postpartum depression, trauma, anxiety, medically fragile/complex children, divorce, grief/loss, life transitions, substance use, attachment and self-esteem. She has experience working within hospital settings, residential and outpatient settings. She draws from psychodynamic, narrative, emotionally focused, EMDR, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based therapy models.
Professional Trainings
Jessica has provided trainings in the hospital setting and at various conferences on a variety of topics including Infant Mental Health, Skin to Skin Care (Kangaroo Care) and Family Support. She draws from psychodynamic, narrative, emotionally focused, EMDR, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based therapy models.
